Sam Molot-Toker
Sam is a neurosurgery resident born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario. He moved to Montreal to complete a bachelor's degree in physiology at McGill University, and then returned home to complete a master's degree in neuroscience at McMaster University. His thesis research focused on neural development and plasticity in the rat brainstem, and he was awarded the Ontario Graduate Scholarship for his work. During medical school at the University of Saskatchewan, he undertook several leadership roles and tailored his experiences to help develop his growing passion for neurosurgery. Now approaching the end of his residency, Sam will be pursuing additional training in pediatric neurosurgery. In his spare time, Sam enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, exploring new cultures and cuisines, and cycling.
