Angela, originally from Scottsdale, Arizona, was raised in Manitoba and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. She recently graduated from medical school at the University of Manitoba, where she discovered her passion for neurosurgery. Throughout medical school, she pursued research across a broad range of neuroscience topics, including cerebral autoregulation monitoring, optimal perfusion targets in neurocritical care, and healthcare utilization disparities in ischemic stroke populations.

As an incoming resident, Angela is excited to immerse herself in all aspects of neurosurgery and looks forward to continuing her involvement in impactful and engaging research.

Outside of medicine, Angela enjoys running, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with her friends and family. She is incredibly excited to begin residency and is deeply grateful for the opportunity to train alongside such an outstanding group of people.
