Yamine joined the Manitoba Neurosurgery Program as a medical graduate from McGill University, initially through the Preparatory Medicine Program. During medical school, he developed a broad interest in the structural and functional organization of cortical systems through research work at CHU Sainte-Justine. He now hopes to translate these interests into a neurosurgical practice and research career that bridges systems neuroscience, network modelling, and operative innovation to improve patient outcomes and advance our understanding of brain function.
